Tough Day At The Pool, Part 2

Well for the second straight day a USA team went down in the quarterfinals as the men lost to Hungary in a nailbiter. Such a great game to watch and it seemed as if the USA would find a way to pull it out in a rematch of the Gold Medal game from Beijing.Unfortunately that was not the case. While the team misses out on a medal at this tourney and a chance to qualify for London if games like today can be a regular thing you have to like where things are headed. Still a depressing couple of days for each team. The women get back at it tomorrow aiming for fith place with a match against their old friend Canada. This could very well be a preview of the Pan Am final match so should be interesting.
In other news went out to an actual restaraunt here in Shanghai after weeks of eating at the hotel. The food here has been great but it was nice to mix it up. Checked out M on the Bund which as you might imagine was on the Bund. A great view of the city skyline and some good food as well. Nice change of pace. The heat has not changed, it remains somewhere between hot and gross most everyday. Not going to miss that when we depart on Sunday.
Back with an update of the women tomorrow
